Bournvita Barfi

INGREDIENTS
Milk - 250 milliliters, divided
Bournvita - 150 grams
Ghee - 250 milliliters
All purpose flour - 250 grams
Sugar - 650 grams
Pistachios - to taste

 

PREPARATION


1. Heat 50 milliliters of milk in a heavy skillet and add 150 grams bournvita over it. Mix well so it is melted. Remove it to a bowl.
2. Take 250 milliliters ghee in a heavy skillet, add 250 grams all purpose flour and roast till nice aroma comes. Remove it to a bowl.
3. In a another heavy skillet add 650 grams sugar, 200 milliliters milk. Heat it and bring it to boil. Boil this till one string consistency is reached.
4. Now add All purpose flour mix, bournvita mix and mix well.
5. Mix till it leaves the sides of the skillet.
6. Now pour this in to a greased plate, garnish with pistachios and let it cool down.
7. Once it is cooled. Cut into slices.
8. Serve and enjoy!
