Easy Pineapple Upside-Down Cake

INGREDIENTS
Butter - 150 grams
Brown sugar - 220 grams
Pineapple - 4 slices
Cherry 
Eggs - 4
Sugar - 200 grams
Plain Flour - 145 grams
Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
Butter - 1 tablespoon
Almond extract - 1 teaspoon

 

PREPARATION


1. Take a baking dish and add 150 grams butter, 220 gram brown sugar and mix well.
2. Arrange 4 pineapple slices on brown sugar. Place cherry in center of each pineapple slice, and arrange remaining cherries around slices and keep aside.
3. In a large mixing bowl, add 4 eggs and beat them well.
4. Add 200 grams sugar and mix well.
5. Add 145 grams plain flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt and mix well again.
6. Add 1 tablespoon butter, 1 teaspoon almond extract and mix it agin to make thick batter.
7. Spread the batter evenly over pineapple base.
8. Preheat the oven to 330°F/170°C. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
9. Cool the cake for 5 minutes.
10. Serve and enjoy.
