INGREDIENTS

Broken rice - 50 grams

Water - 250 milliliters

Full fat milk - 1 litre

Saffron - 1/4 teaspoon

Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Sugar - 90 grams

Pistachios - 2 tablespoons

Almonds - 2 tablespoons

Pistachios - for garnishing

Almonds - for garnishing

Rose petals - for garnishing

PREPARATION

1. Soak 50 grams broken rice in 250 milliliters water for 1 hour.

2. Heat 1 litre full fat milk in a heavy pot, add 1/4 teaspoon saffron and stir well.

3. Now, add the soaked rice in it and mix it well.

4. Then, add 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder, 90 grams sugar and stir continuously until the sugar is fully dissolved.

5. Lower the heat and let it simmer till it reduces a little.

6. Add 2 tablespoons pistachios, 2 tablespoons almonds and stir well.

7. Bring it to a boil.

8. Remove it from heat and allow it to cool.

9. Refrigerate for 5 - 6 hours.

10. Garnish with pistachios, almonds and rose petals.

11. Serve and enjoy!
