INGREDIENTS

(For Milk Mixture)

Milk - 1 litre

Sugar - 60 grams

Condensed milk - 140 grams

Saffron - 1/4 teaspoon

Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon

(For Sugar Syrup)

Sugar - 125 grams

Water - 110 milliliters

(For Dry Fruits)

Ghee - 1 tablespoon

Almonds - 2 tablespoons

Cashews - 2 tablespoons

Pistachios - 2 tablespoons

(For Bread)

Brown bread slices

Ghee - for frying

PREPARATION

(For Milk Mixture)

1. Heat 1 litre milk in a pot, add 60 grams and stir well.

2. Then, add 140 grams condensed milk, 1/4 teaspoon saffron, 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder and mix it well.

3. Bring it to a boil.

4. Cook on low heat until milk reduced it’s half of the quantity.

5. Remove it from heat and allow it to cool.

(For Sugar Syrup)

1. Take a pan, add 125 grams sugar, 110 milliliters water and stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.

2. Bring it to a boil.

3. Remove it from heat and keep aside.

(For Dry Fruits)

1. Heat 1 tablespoon ghee in a another pan, add 2 tablespoons almonds, 2 tablespoons cashews, 2 tablespoons pistachios and roast until it turns golden brown in color.

2. Remove it from heat and keep aside.

(For Bread)

1. Take a brown bread slice and cut it’s edges.

2. Now, cut it into half.

3. Heat some ghee in a pan and shallow fry the bread slices until it turns golden brown in color from both sides.

(Rest of the Preparation)

1. Dip the fried bread slices in prepared sugar syrup.

2. Now, place it on a serving plate.

3. Pour the prepared milk mixture on top of it.

4. Garnish with the roasted dry fruits.

5. Serve.
