Chicken Kofta

INGREDIENTS
Oil - 1 teaspoon
Butter - 1 tablespoon
Ginger - 1 1/2 teaspoons
Garlic - 1 1/2 teaspoons
Green chili - 2 teaspoons
Onions - 100 grams
Mint - 35 grams
Coriander - 20 grams
Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
Egg - 1
Chicken - 750 grams
Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
Red chili - 1 teaspoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Butter - 1 tablespoon
Oil - 2 tablespoons
Bay leaf - 2
Cashew paste - 60 grams
Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoon
Coriander powder - 1 tablespoon
Red chili - 1/4 teaspoon
Water - 440 milliliters
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Fresh cream - 80 grams
Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon

 

PREPARATION


1. Heat 1 teaspoon oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a pan, add 1 1/2 teaspoons ginger, 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic and saute for 2 - 3 minutes.
2. Add 2 teaspoons green chili and stir well.
3. Now, add 100 grams onions and fry till translucent.
4. Add 35 grams mint, 20 grams coriander, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric and mix it well.
5. Transfer this mixture into a blender and blend it into a paste.
6. In a mixing bowl, add 1 egg, 750 grams chicken, 1 teaspoon garam masala, 1 teaspoon red chili, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon butter and mix well.
7. Take a small portion of it and make small balls.
8. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a heavy skillet, 2 bay leaf, 60 grams cashew paste and mix it well.
9. Add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric, 1 tablespoon coriander powder, 1/4 teaspoon red chili and mix well.
10. Add 440 milliliters water and mix it well. Bring it to a boil.
11. Now, place the prepared koftas in it.
12. Add the blended mixture in it and mix well.
13. Then, add 1/2 teaspoon salt, 80 grams fresh cream and mix it again.
14. Add 1 teaspoon lemon juice and mix well.
15. Serve hot.
