Tandoori Chicken Naan Burger
Servings - 3 - 4

 

INGREDIENTS
Ground chicken - 500 grams
Green onions - 80 grams
Ginger - 2 tablespoons
Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
Paprika - 1 tablespoon
Cumin - 2 teaspoons
Cardamom - 1/2 teaspoon
Red chili - 1/4 teaspoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
Dry mango powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Butter

Yogurt Sauce
Yogurt - 350 milliliters
Mint - 1 tablespoon
Cumin - 2 teaspoons
Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Naan bread
Onions - to taste
Cucumber - to taste
Cilantro - to taste

 

PREPARATION


1. In a mixing bowl, add 500 grams ground chicken, 80 grams green onions, 2 tablespoons ginger, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 1 tablespoon paprika, 2 tablespoons cumin, 1/2 teaspoon cardamom, 1/4 teaspoon red chili, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric and 1/4 teaspoon dry mango powder. Mix all the ingredients well.
2. Make equal sized balls from the mixture and flatten slightly.
3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat and brush with butter. Place patty on the grill. Cook about 2 minutes or until the patty is golden brown. Flip and cook for an additional 3 minutes.

Yogurt Sauce
1. In a mixing bowl, add 350 milliliters yogurt, 1 tablespoon mint, 2 teaspoons cumin, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper and mix well.
2. Take a naan bread cut it into half, place the patty on it, top with onions, cucumber and cilantro.
3. Add the yogurt sauce over it.
4. Serve and enjoy!
