Almonds - 1 tablespoon
Cashews - 1 tablespoon
Raisins - 1 tablespoon
Pistachios - 1 tablespoon
Ginger - 1 1/2 teaspoons
Green chili - 1 teaspoon
Chaat masala - 1 teaspoon
Red chili - 1 teaspoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Water
Bread slices
Oil - for frying
Yogurt - 460 grams
Rose water - 1 teaspoon
Powdered sugar - 30 grams
Tamarind chutney - to taste
Green chutney - to taste
Red chili - to taste
Chaat masala - to taste
Pomegranate seeds - to taste
PREPARATION
1. In a mixing bowl, add 1 tablespoon almonds, 1 tablespoon cashews, 1 tablespoon raisins, 1 tablespoon pistachios, 1 1/2 teaspoons ginger, 1 teaspoon green chili, 1 teaspoon chaat masala, 1 teaspoon red chili, 1 teaspoon salt and mix all the
ingredients well.
2. Take a bread slice cut it’s all edges, lightly wet the bread and put the filling in centre and fold the bread in half, forming semi-circle. Press the edges together with your fingers. Make sure the edges are sealed.
3. Heat sufficient oil in a skillet. Deep fry until crispy and golden brown. Drain it on an absorbent paper. Keep aside.
4. In a bowl, add 460 grams yogurt, 1 teaspoon rose water, 30 grams powdered sugar and mix it well.
5. Take the fried bread and dip it in water for one minute.
6. Dip them in yogurt one at a time and arrange them in serving plate.
7. Top with yogurt, tamarind chutney and green chutney.
8. Sprinkle red chili, chaat masala and pomegranate seeds.
9. Serve.
