Cabbage Manchurian

INGREDIENTS

(For Manchurian Balls)

Grated cabbage - 300 grams

Grated carrot - 70 grams

Red chili - 1/2 teaspoon

Ginger garlic paste - 1 teaspoon

Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

All purpose flour - 80 grams

Corn flour - 2 tablespoons

Water - 2 tablespoons

Oil - for frying

(For Gravy)

Oil - 2 tablespoons

Garlic - 1 1/2 teaspoons

Spring onions - 20 grams

White spring onions - 40 grams

Green chili - 1/2 tablespoon

Bell pepper - 55 grams

Red chili sauce - 1 tablespoon

Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons

Vinegar - 1 tablespoon

Ketchup - 2 tablespoons

Salt - 1/4 teaspoon

Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon

Spring onions - for garnishing

PREPARATION

(For Manchurian Balls)

1. In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients and mix it well.

2. Take some mixture in your hand and shape it into a lemon sized ball.

3. Heat sufficient oil in a pot and deep fry these till golden brown and crispy.

4. Drain it on an absorbent paper and keep aside.

(For Gravy)

1. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan, add 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic and stir well.

2. Add 20 grams spring onions, 40 grams white spring onions and fry till translucent.

3. Then, add 1/2 tablespoon green chili and stir well.

4. Now, add 55 grams bell pepper and saute for 5 - 7 minutes or until the bell pepper is soft.

5. Add 1 tablespoon red chili sauce, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon vinegar, 2 tablespoons ketchup and mix it well.

6. Add 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper and mix it again.

7. Now, add the fried manchurian balls and mix it well.

8. Cook for 3 - 5 minutes.

9. Garnish with spring onions.

10. Serve hot.
