Chatpata Aloo Chaat

INGREDIENTS
Sugar - 230 grams
Water - 320 milliliters
Dry Mango powder - 2 tablespoons
Paprika - 1 tablespoon
Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
Black salt - 1 teaspoon
Ginger powder - 1 teaspoon
Fennel seed powder - 1 teaspoon
Potatoes - 400 grams
Chaat masala - for garnishing

 

PREPARATION


1. Take a pot, add 230 grams sugar, 320 milliliters water and stir until it fully dissolved.
2. Add 2 tablespoons dry mango powder, 1 tablespoon paprika, 1 teaspoon cumin powder, 1 teaspoon black salt, 1 teaspoon ginger powder, 1 teaspoon fennel powder and mix well.
3. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for 4 - 5 minutes.
4. The mixture would be thicken. Turn off the heat and let the chutney mixture cool.
5. Heat sufficient oil in a heavy skillet, add 400 grams potatoes and fry till golden brown.
6. Place the fry potato on a towel and press them gently to flat them.
7. Now transfer them into a bowl, add the chutney and mix well to combine.
8. Sprinkle some chaat masala over it.
9. Serve and enjoy
