Homemade Masala Tea

Servings - 3 - 4

INGREDIENTS

(For Masala)

Cardamom - 10 grams

Cinnamon stick - 5 grams

Dry ginger powder - 25 grams

Black pepper powder - 10 grams

Nutmeg - 1 tablespoon

(For Masala Tea)

Water - 220 milliliters

Tea masala - 1 teaspoon

Tea leaves - 2 tablespoons

Sugar - 3 tablespoons

Milk - 330 milliliters

PREPARATION

(For Masala)

1. Take a pan, add 10 grams cardamom, 5 grams cinnamon stick and dry roast them on high heat for 2 - 3 minutes.

2. Transfer this mixture into a blender and blend it into a fine powder.

3. Take a another pan, add 25 grams dry ginger powder, 10 grams black pepper powder, 1 tablespoon nutmeg powder and the blended cardamom powder in it.

4. Dry Roast them for 5 minutes. Allow it to cool and transfer them into a air tight Container.

(For Masala Tea)

1. Take a Pan, add 220 milliliters water and bring it to a boil.

2. Add 1 teaspoon tea masala, 2 tablespoons tea leaves, 3 tablespoons sugar and stir well.

3. Bring the mixture to a boil and add 330 milliliters milk in it and mix it well.

4. Bring this mixture again to boil.

5. Strain and serve hot.
