INGREDIENTS
(For Dough)
Wheat flour - 180 grams
All purpose flour - 180 grams
Powdered sugar - 1/4 teaspoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Oil - 2 tablespoons
Water - 220 milliliters
(For Stuffing)
Onions - 150 grams
Flattened rice - 80 grams
Paprika - 1 teaspoon
Garam masala - 1/4 teaspoon
Dry mango powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Ginger - 1 tablespoon
Coriander - 2 tablespoons
(For All Purpose Flour Paste)
All purpose flour - 30 grams
Water - 60 milliliters
Oil - for frying
PREPARATION
(For Dough)
1. In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients except, water and mix it well.
2. Add 220 milliliters water and knead it into a smooth soft dough. Keep aside.
(For Stuffing)
1. In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients and mix it well. Keep aside.
(For All Purpose Flour Paste)
1. In a bowl, add 30 grams all purpose flour, 60 milliliters water and mix it well to make a thick batter.
2. Keep aside.
(Rest of the Preparation)
1. Take a ball from dough and flatten in with the help of rolling pin.
2. Cut a rectangle from it.
3. Place it on tawa and cook partially for 2 - 3 minutes from both sides.
4. Roll it into a cone and place the stuffing inside it.
5. Apply all purpose flour paste on it to seal its edges.
6. Heat sufficient oil in a heavy skillet and deep fry these till golden brown and crispy.
7. Drain it on an absorbent paper.
8. Serve hot with ketchup.
