Raw Banana Pakora

INGREDIENTS

Gram flour - 215 grams

Rice flour - 50 grams

Red chili - 1/2 teaspoon

Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon

Baking soda - 1/2 teaspoon

Salt - 1 teaspoon

Water - 350 milliliters

Raw bananas - 3

Water - for soaking

Oil - for frying

PREPARATION

1. In a mixing bowl, add 215 grams gram flour, 50 grams rice flour, 1/2 teaspoon red chili, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon salt and mix it well.

2. Add 350 milliliters water and mix it well to make a thick batter. Keep aside.

3. Take 3 raw bananas and ripe the outer part of it. Cut it into slices.

4. Dip it in sufficient water so they don’t get discoloured.

5. Remove it from water and clean it with a cloth.

6. Dip the bananas in gram flour mixture.

7. Heat sufficient oil in a heavy skillet and deep fry these till golden brown and crispy.

8. Serve hot with ketchup.
