Sweet & Salted Ajwain Cookies

INGREDIENTS

All purpose flour - 500 grams

Powdered sugar - 100 grams

Carom seeds - 2 teaspoons

Salt - 1 teaspoon

Butter - 250 milliliters

Milk - 110 milliliters

PREPARATION

1. In a mixing bowl, add 500 grams all purpose flour, 100 grams powdered sugar, 2 teaspoons carom seeds, 1 teaspoon salt, 250 milliliters butter, 110 milliliters milk and knead it into a smooth soft dough.

2. Rest the dough for 20 minutes.

3. Dust the flour with all purpose flour and flatten the dough with the help of rolling pin.

4. Use a cookie cutter to cut out cookies from the dough.

5. Place it on a baking tray.

6. Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C. Bake for 12 - 15 minutes.

7. Serve with tea or store in an airtight container.
