Bajre ki Khichdi
Servings - 3 - 4

INGREDIENTS 
Pearl millet - 110 grams
Water - 500 milliliters
Split Mung Beans - 120 grams
Salt - 1 1/2 teaspoons
Ghee - 1 teaspoon
Cumin - 1 teaspoon
Asafoetida - 1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric -1/4 teaspoon

PREPARATION


1. soak 110 grams pearl millet in sufficient water for overnight.
2. Add 500 millilitres water in a deep pan, pearl millet ,120 grams split mung beans, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt and bring it to boil.
3. Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a heavy pot and add 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, 1/2 teaspoon asafoetida, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric and saute on a medium heat for few minutes.
4. Add cooked mixture on it and cook on a medium heat for 7 to 1o minutes.
5. Serve.
