INGREDIENTS
Oil - 2 tablespoons
Mustard seeds - 1 teaspoon
White lentils - 1 tablespoon
Split bengal gram - 1 tablespoon
Curry leaves - 10 - 12
Green chili - 2 teaspoons
Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoon
Cabbage - 575 grams
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Desiccated coconut - 20 grams
PREPARATION
1. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a heavy pot, add 1 teaspoon mustard seeds, 1 tablespoon white lentils, 1 tablespoon split bengal gram and roast for 2 - 3 minutes or till it turns golden brown in color.
2. Add 10 - 12 curry leaves, 2 teaspoons green chili and stir well.
3. Then, add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric and stir again.
4. Now, add 575 grams cabbage and mix it well.
5. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes.
6. Add 1 teaspoon salt, 20 grams desiccated coconut and mix it well.
7. Cook for another 2 - 3 minutes.
8. Serve hot with roti.
