Yogurt - 200 grams
Gram flour - 50 grams
Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
Red chili - 1 teaspoon
Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander powder - 1 tablespoon
Dry mango powder - 1 teaspoon
Water - 120 milliliters
Oil - 2 tablespoons
Asafoetida - 1/4 teaspoon
Mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin - 1 teaspoon
Ginger - 1 tablespoon
Garlic - 1 tablespoon
Green chili - 1 tablespoon
Onions - 200 grams
Bell pepper - 300 grams
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Coriander - 10 grams
PREPARATION
1. In a mixing bowl, add 200 grams yogurt, 50 grams gram flour, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric, 1 teaspoon red chili, 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder, 1 tablespoon coriander powder, 1 teaspoon dry mango powder, 120 milliliters water and mix well to make a thick batter.
2. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a heavy skillet, add 1/4 teaspoon asafoetida, 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds, 1 teaspoon cumin and stir well.
3. Add 1 tablespoon ginger, 1 tablespoon garlic, 1 tablespoon green chili and saute till it turns golden brown in color.
4. Now, add 200 grams onions and fry till translucent.
5. Add 300 grams bell pepper and mix well.
6. Cover it with a lid and cook for 4 - 5 minutes.
7. Add 1 teaspoon salt, 10 grams coriander and mix well.
8. Add the gram flour batter in it and mix it well.
9. Cook for 5 - 6 minutes.
10. Serve.
