Dry Aloo Matar

INGREDIENTS

Oil - 2 tablespoons

Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon

Baby potatoes - 230 grams

Green peas - 150 grams

Green Chili - 1 teaspoon

Ginger - 1 teaspoon

Red Chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon

Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon

Water - 80 milliliters

Salt - 1 teaspoon

Dry mango powder - 1 teaspoon

Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon

Chaat masala - 1 teaspoon

PREPARATION

1. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pot, add 1 teaspoon cumin seeds and stir well.

2. Add 230 grams baby potatoes, 150 grams green peas and saute 5 - 7 minutes.

3. Then, add 1 teaspoon green chili, 1 teaspoon ginger and mix it well

4. Now, add 1/2 teaspoon red chili, 1 teaspoon cumin, 1 teaspoon coriander powder and mix well again.

5. Add 80 millilitres water and stir well.

6. Cover it with lid and cook for 20 - 25 minutes and stir occasionally in between to avoid sticking.

7. Then, add 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon dry mango powder, 1/2 teaspoon garam masala, 1 teaspoon chaat masala and mix it well.

8. Serve hot with roti.
