Paneer Khurchan

INGREDIENTS
Oil - 1 1/2 teaspoons 
Onions - 100 grams
Bell pepper - 130 grams
Tomato - 200 grams
Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoon
Red chili - 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander - 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
Garam masala - 1/4 teaspoon
Asafoetida - 1/8 teaspoon
Green chili - 2
Ginger - 1 tablespoon
Paneer - 250 grams
Fresh cream - 1 tablespoon
Dry fenugreek leaves - 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander - for garnishing

 

PREPARATION


1. Heat 1 1/2 teaspoons oil in a pan, add 100 grams onions and saute till they turn translucent.
2. Add 130 grams bell pepper, 200 grams tomato and stirring them for about 5 - 7 minutes.
3. Add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric, 1/2 teaspoon red chili, 1/2 teaspoon coriander, 1/2 teaspoon cumin, 1/4 teaspoon garam masala, 1/8 teaspoon asafoetida and mix well.
4. Add 2 green chili, 1 tablespoon ginger and stir again.
5. Add 250 grams paneer and stir very well. Cook for about 5 - 10 minutes.
6. Add 1 tablespoon fresh cream, 1/2 teaspoon dry fenugreek leaves and mix well.
7. Garnish with coriander.
8. Serve with roti or naan.
