Bread Halwa Stuffed With Ice Cream

Servings - 2 - 3

INGREDIENTS

Almonds - 1 tablespoon
Cashews - 1 tablespoon
Pistachios - 1 tablespoon
Brown bread slices - 8 - 10
Ghee - for frying
Milk - 200 milliliters
Powdered sugar - 50 grams
Cardamom powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Vanilla ice cream
Pistachios - for garnishing

PREPARATION


1. Take a pan, add 1 tablespoon almonds, 1 tablespoon cashews, 1 tablespoon pistachios and dry roast for 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat or until it turns golden brown in color.
2. Transfer this into a blender and blend it into a fine powder.
3. Take a brown bread slice and cut it’s edges.
4. Cut it into pieces. Do the same with all bread slices.
5. Heat sufficient ghee in a skillet and deep fry these until dark brown and crispy.
6. Drain it on an absorbent paper.
7. Transfer this into a blender and blend it well.
8. Transfer this into a skillet and mix it well.
9. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
10. Then, add 200 milliliters milk and mix it well.
11. Now, add 50 grams powdered sugar and mix it again.
12. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
13. Add the blended dry fruits, 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder and mix it well.
14. Cook for another 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat.
15. Remove it from heat.
16. Take a bowl, place a plastic wrap on it.
17. Fill it with prepared halwa and make a hollow in it.
18. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream in it.
19. Take a plate and place it on the top of it.
20. Flip it carefully and remove the bowl and plastic wrap from it.
21. Garnish with pistachios.
22. Serve.
