Chocolate Hazelnut Churros 

 

Servings - 2 - 3

 

INGREDIENTS
Egg powder - 20 grams

Water - 340 milliliters, divided

Sugar - 2 teaspoons

Oil - 2 tablespoons

All purpose flour - 200 grams

Powdered sugar - 50 grams

Cinnamon powder - 1 tablespoon

Oil - for frying

Chocolate hazelnut spread

 

PREPARATION

  1. In a mixing bowl, add 20 grams egg powder, 90 milliliters water and mix it well.
  2. Take a pan, add 250 milliliters water, 2 teaspoons sugar, 2 tablespoons oil and stir continuously until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  3. Bring it to a boil.
  4. Remove it from heat and place it on a board.
  5. Add 200 grams all purpose flour and mix it well.
  6. Add the prepared egg mixture and mix it well to make a thick batter.
  7. Fill this mixture into a piping bag.
  8. Make some churros on a butter paper. (See Video)
  9. Freeze for 45 minutes.
  10. In a bowl, add 50 grams powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder and mix it well. Keep aside.
  11. Heat sufficient oil in a skillet and deep fry these until golden brown and crispy.
  12. Remove it from heat.
  13. Roll it in powdered sugar mixture properly.
  14. Take the churros and prick a toothpick inside it.
  15. Fill it with chocolate hazelnut spread.
  16. Serve.
