Dalia Aur Atte Ke Ladoo

INGREDIENTS


Broken wheat - 115 grams

Water - 1 litre, divided

Flax seeds - 35 grams

Wheat flour - 80 grams

Ghee - 90 milliliters, divided

Jaggery - 150 grams

Cardamom powder - 1/4 teaspoon

Cinnamon powder - 1/4 teaspoon

Raisins - 1 tablespoon

Almonds - 1 tablespoon

Pistachios - 1 tablespoon

Cashews - 1 tablespoon

Almonds - for garnishing

PREPARATION

1. In a bowl, add 115 grams broken wheat and 500 milliliters water. Wash and drain the broken wheat.

2. Add 500 milliliters water and soak for 4 - 5 hours.

3. Take a pan, add 35 grams flax seeds and fry roast for 3 - 5 minutes.

4. Remove it from heat and transfer it to a blender and blend it into a fine powder.

5. Take a another pan, add 80 grams wheat flour and dry roast for 3 - 5 minutes on until it turns golden brown in color.

6. Remove it form heat and keep aside.

7. Heat 45 milliliters ghee in a another pan, add soaked broken wheat and roast for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.

8. Remove it from heat and keep aside.

9. Heat 45 milliliters ghee in a another pan, add 150 grams jaggery and stir continuously until the jaggery is melt.

10. Remove it from heat.

11. In a mixing bowl, add the roasted broken wheat, melted jaggery, blended mixture, 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder, 1 tablespoon raisins, 1 tablespoon almonds, 1 tablespoon cashews and mix all the ingredients well.

12. Take some mixture in your hands and shape it into a ladoo.

13. Garnish with almonds.

14. Serve or store in an airtight container.
