INGREDIENTS
Dry yeast - 2 teaspoons
Sugar - 2 tablespoons
Warm milk - 100 milliliters
All purpose flour - 160 grams
Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
Butter - 2 tablespoons
Grated coconut - 140 grams
Tutti frutti - 110 grams
Glazed red cherries - 40 grams
Cashews - 40 grams
Raisins - 40 grams
Desiccated coconut - 2 tablespoons
Brown sugar - 2 tablespoons
Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Butter - for brushing
PREPARATION
1. In a mixing bowl, add 2 teaspoons dry yeast, 2 tablespoons sugar, 100 milliliters warm milk and mix it well.
2. Rest the mixture for 10 minutes.
3. Add 160 grams all purpose flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 2 tablespoons butter and knead it into a smooth soft dough.
4. Rest the dough for 2 hours.
5. Take a pan, add 140 grams grated coconut and roast until it turns golden brown in color.
6. Transfer this into a bowl, add 110 grams tutti frutti, 40 grams glazed red cherries, 40 grams cashews, 40 grams raisins, 2 tablespoons desiccated
coconut, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder and mix all the ingredients well.
7. Now, take ball from dough and flatten it with the help of a rolling pin.
8. Transfer this into a baking dish.
9. Add the prepared stuffing on top of the dough and spread it evenly.
10. Place the another base on top of it.
11. Seal the sides bye folding it inwards.
12. Brush it with butter.
13. Make cuts on top of it.
14. Rest for 30 minutes.
15. Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C. Bake for 30 minutes.
16. Remove it from oven and cool.
17. Brush it with butter.
18. Cut it into slices.
19. Serve.
