Jalebi Taco

Servings - 3 - 4

INGREDIENTS

All purpose flour - 100 grams
Gram flour - 50 grams
Yogurt - 2 tablespoons
Organic food color - 1/2 teaspoon
Water - 250 milliliters
Sugar - 250 grams
Water - 200 milliliters
Green cardamom - 2 pods
Saffron - 1/4 teaspoon
Chilled whipping cream - 250 grams
Powdered sugar - 2 tablespoons
Oil - for frying
Chocolate syrup - for garnishing
Pistachios - for garnishing

PREPARATION


1. In a mixing bowl, add 100 grams all purpose flour, 50 grams gram flour, 2 tablespoons yogurt, 1/2 teaspoon organic food color, 250 milliliters water and mix it well to make a thick batter.
2. Rest the mixture for overnight.
3. Take a pan, add 250 grams sugar, 200 milliliters water and stir continuously until the sugar is fully dissolved.
4. Add 2 pods green cardamom, 1/4 teaspoon saffron and mix it well.
5. Bring it to a boil. Remove it from heat and keep aside.
6. In a mixing bowl, add 250 grams chilled whipping cream and whisk it well.
7. Add 2 tablespoons powdered sugar and mix it well.
8. Heat some oil on a pan, pour some prepared mixture on it and spread it evenly.
9. Cook for 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat.
10. Remove it from pan and transfer this into a skillet filled with hot oil.
11. With help of spatula and tong shape it into a taco and dry until it turns golden brown in color.
12. Now, dip it in the prepared sugar syrup.
13. Soak for about 1 hour.
14. Remove it from sugar syrup.
15. Fill it with prepared frosting.
16. Drizzle some chocolate syrup on top of it.
17. Garnish with pistachios.
18. Serve.
