INGREDIENTS

Cashews - 70 grams

All purpose flour - 120 grams

Baking powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Salt - 1/4 teaspoon

Custard powder - 20 grams

Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Ghee - 120 grams

Powdered sugar - 70 grams

Milk powder - 20 grams

Cashews - to taste

 

PREPARATION

  1. In a blender, add 70 grams cashews and blend it into a fine powder.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add 120 grams all purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 20 grams custard powder, 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder and mix it well.
  3. In a another mixing bowl, add 120 grams ghee and whisk it well.
  4. Then, add 70 grams powdered sugar and mix it well.
  5. Add 20 grams milk powder and mix it again.
  6. Add the blended cashews and mix it well.
  7. Now, add the prepared flour mixture and knead it into a smooth soft dough.
  8. Dust the floor with flour.
  9. Take the dough and flatten it with the help of a rolling pin.
  10. Cut out circles from it.
  11. Place it on a baking tray.
  12. Top with cashews.
  13. Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C. Bake for about 20 - 25 minutes.
  14. Remove it from oven.
  15. Serve or store in an airtight container.
