Strawberry Champagne Trifle

INGREDIENTS

All purpose flour - 250 grams

Baking powder - 1 3/4 teaspoons

Butter - 120 grams

Powdered sugar - 150 grams

Eggs - 3

Vanilla essence - 1 teaspoon

Pink champagne - 150 milliliters

Whipped cream - 300 grams

Cream cheese - 250 grams

Strawberries - to taste

PREPARATION

1. In a mixing bowl, add 250 grams all purpose flour, 1 3/4 teaspoons baking powder and mix it well.

2. In a another mixing bowl, add 120 grams butter and whisk it well.

3. Then, add 150 grams powdered sugar and mix it well.

4. Now, add 3 eggs one by one and whisk until the mixture becomes smooth and fluffy.

5. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla essence, flour mixture and mix it well to make a thick batter.

6. Now, add 150 milliliters pink champagne and mix it well.

7. Transfer this batter into a baking dish.

8. Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C. Bake for 45 minutes.

9. Remove it from oven and allow it to cool.

10. Cut it into square pieces and keep aside.

11. In a mixing bowl, add 300 grams whipped cream and whisk it well.

12. Then, add 250 grams cream cheese and whisk it again.

13. Transfer this frosting into piping bag.

14. Take a big glass bowl, add a 1/3rd layer of prepared frosting into it.

15. Arrange the strawberries slices around the sides of the bowl.

16. Add the prepared cake pieces into it.

17. Add some more strawberries over.

18. Repeat the process one more time.

19. Now, add the frosting over it and spread it evenly.

20. Garnish with prepared crumbled cake.

21. Top with strawberries slices.

22. Serve.
