 Chicken Cheese & Mushroom Damper

Servings - 2 - 3

INGREDIENTS

Fresh cream - 150 grams

Milk - 150 milliliters

Eggs - 2

All purpose flour - 400 grams

Baking powder - 2 teaspoons

Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon

Oregano - 1/2 teaspoon

Chilli flakes - 1/2 teaspoon

Water - 800 milliliters

Boneless chicken - 500 grams

Oil - 20 milliliters

Garlic - 1 tablespoon

Onions - 75 grams

Mushrooms - 150 grams

Salt - 1 teaspoon

Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon

Oregano - 1 teaspoon

Chilli flakes - 1 teaspoon

Cheddar cheese - to taste

Egg wash - for brushing

PREPARATION

1. In a mixing bowl, add 150 grams fresh cream, 150 milliliters milk, 2 eggs and mix it well.

2. In a another mixing bowl, add 400 grams all purpose flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon oregano, 1/2

teaspoon chilli flakes and mxi it well.

3. Now, add the prepared cream and milk mixture in it.

4. Knead it into a smooth soft dough.

5. Take a pot, add 800 milliliters water, 500 grams boneless chicken and cover it with lid.

6. Boil for 15 - 20 minutes on medium heat.

7. Open the lid and drain the chicken. Keep aside.

8. Heat 20 milliliters oil in a pan, add 1 tablespoon garlic and saute for a minute.

9. Then, add 75 grams onions and fry till translucent.

10. Now, add 150 grams mushrooms and mix it well.

11. Saute the mushrooms for 7 - 10 minutes on medium heat.

12. Add the boiled chicken in it and mix it well.

13. Then, add 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon oregano, 1 teaspoon chilli flakes and mix it well.

14. Cook for another 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat.

15. Remove it from heat.

16. Take a ball from dough and flatten it with the help of a rolling pin.

17. Now, add prepared chicken and mushroom on it.

18. Garnish with cheddar cheese.

19. Cover it with another dough circled seal the edges properly.

20. Make a pattern with the help of a fork.

21. Now, brush it with egg wash and make cuts in the center.

22. Place it on a baking tray.

23. Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C. Bake for 1 hour or until it turns golden brown in color.

24. Cut it into slices.

25. Serve hot.
