INGREDIENTS

Fish - 600 grams

Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoon

Lemon juice - 50 milliliters

Oil - 50 milliliters

Mustard oil - 40 milliliters

Cloves - 5

Cardamom - 5

Onion paste - 170 grams

Ginger paste - 1 tablespoon

Garlic paste - 1 tablespoon

Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoon

Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon

Coriander powder - 1 1/2 tablespoons

Yogurt - 70 grams

Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

Water - 250 milliliters

Garam masala - 1 teaspoon

PREPARATION

1. In a mixing bowl, add 600 grams fish, 1/2 teaspoon salt,1/4 teaspoon turmeric, 50 milliliters lemon juice and mix well to combine.

2. Marinate for 15 minutes.

3. Heat 50 milliliters oil in pan and fry marinated fish for 3 - 5 minutes or till it's golden brown from all sides.

4. Heat 40 milliliters oil in a pan, add 5 cloves, 5 cardamom and saute for 2 - 3 minutes.

5. Add, 170 grams onion paste saute until it changes into golden brown color.

6. Now, add 1 tablespoon ginger paste, 1 tablespoon garlic paste and mix well.

7. Then, add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric, 1 teaspoon red chili, 1 1/2 tablespoons coriander powder and mix it well.

8. Add 70 grams yogurt and give it a. nice stir.

9. Now, add fried fish and mix it well.

10. Add 1/2 teaspoon salt, 250 milliliters water and cook for 15 minutes.

11. Now, add 1 teaspoon garam masala and mix well. Cook for another 5 minutes.

12. Serve hot with rice and naan.
