Prawns 2 Ways

Lemon Coriander Prawns
Servings - 2- 3

 

INGREDINETS
Garlic cloves - 7
Ginger - 1 tablespoon
Coriander - 20 grams
Lemon juice - 1 1/2 teaspoons
Oil - 2 tablespoons
Prawns - 500 grams
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Black peppercorns - 1 teaspoon
Lemon rind - 1/2 teaspoon
Oil
Corn starch - 1 tablespoon
Water - 50 milliliters
Coriander - 1 tablespoon

 

PREPARATION


1. In a mixing bowl, add 7 garlic cloves, 1 tablespoon ginger, 20 grams coriander, 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice, 2 tablespoons oil and blend it into a paste.
2. In a another mixing bowl, add 500 grams prawns, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon black peppercorns, 1/2 teaspoon lemon rind and mix well.
3. Marinate for 30 minutes.
4. Heat some oil in a pan, add the marinated prawns in the pan and and toss on high heat. Cook for 2 - 3 minutes.
5. In a bowl, add 1 tablespoon corn starch, 50 milliliters water and mix well to make a smooth slurry.
6. Add this mixture into the prawns, mix well and let the sauce thicken.
7. Add 1 tablespoon coriander and mix well.
8. Serve hot.

Crispy Indian Prawns
Servings - 2 - 3

Prawns - 500 grams
Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
Red chili - 1 teaspoon
Yogurt - 150 grams
Egg - 1
Gram flour - 3 tablespoons
Bread crumbs
