Sizzling Chicken Manchurian

INGREDIENTS

(Red Chilli Sauce)

Red chili - 30 grams

Ketchup - 50 grams

White pepper powder - 1/4 teaspoon

Salt - 1/4 teaspoon

Water - 100 milliliters

Oil - 60 milliliters

Garlic - 90 grams

(Sizzling Manchurian)

Boneless chicken - 310 grams

Corn flour - 1 tablespoon

Beaten egg - 1

Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

White pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Oil - for frying

Oil - 2 tablespoons

Garlic - 1 tablespoon

Onions - 50 grams

Bell pepper - 50 grams

Tomato - 60 grams

Ketchup - 65 grams

Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Vinegar - 1 tablespoon

Sugar - 1 tablespoon

Salt - 1 teaspoon

White pepper powder - 1/4 teaspoon

Prepared red chilli sauce - 2 tablespoons

Soy sauce - 1 teaspoon

Water - 200 milliliters

Corn flour - 1 tablespoon

Water - 2 tablespoons

Butter - for greasing

Spring onions - for garnishing

PREPARATION

1. In a mixing bowl, add 30 grams red chili, 50 grams ketchup, 1/4 teaspoon white pepper powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 100 milliliters water and mix it well.

2. Heat 60 milliliters oil in a pan, add 90 grams garlic and stir until it turns golden brown in color.

3. Now, add the prepared mixture in it and mix it well.

4. Bring it to a boil.

5. Cook till the gravy thickens.

6. Remove it from heat and keep aside.

(Sizzling Manchurian)

1. Take 310 grams boneless chicken and cut it into small pieces.

2. Transfer this into a mixing bowl, add 1 tablespoon corn flour, 1 beaten egg, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon white pepper powder and mix it well.

3. Heat sufficient oil in a pot and deep fry the chicken pieces until it turns golden brown in color.

4. Drain it on an absorbent paper and keep aside.

5. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan, add 1 tablespoon garlic and stir for a minute.

6. Then, add 50 grams onions, 50 grams bell pepper, 60 grams tomato and saute the veggies for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.

7. Now, add 65 grams ketchup, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1 tablespoon vinegar, 1 tablespoon sugar, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon white pepper powder, 2 tablespoons prepared red chilli sauce, 1 teaspoon soy sauce and mix it well.

8. Add the fried chicken pieces, 200 milliliters water and mix it we’ll.

9. Bring it to a boil.

10. Cook for 3 - 5 minutes on low heat.

11. Take a bow, add 1 tablespoon corn flour, 2 tablespoons water and mix it well.

12. Pour the mixture into gravy and mix it well.

13. Cook until the gravy thickens.

14. Remove it from heat.

1. Heat the sizzler on the induction or gas.

2. Place it on a wooden tray.

3. Spread some butter on it.

4. Now, add the prepared Manchurian on top of it.

5. Garnish with spring onions.

6. Serve hot.
