Spicy Indian Fish Fry
Servings - 2 - 4 

 

INGREDIENTS
Red chili - 2 tablespoons
Coriander powder - 2 tablespoons
Turmeric - 1 teaspoon
Lemon juice - 2 teaspoons
Salt- 2 teaspoons
Water - 1 1/2 tablespoons
Fish (Sole) - 600 grams
Cornstarch - 2 tablespoons
Water - 100 milliliters

 

PREPARATION

 
1. Clean the fish pieces with water. Drain water and keep aside
2. In a bowl, add 2 tablespoons red chili, 2 tablespoons coriander powder, 1 teaspoon turmeric, 2 teaspoons lemon juice, 2 teaspoons salt, 1 1/2 tablespoons water and mix well to make a fine paste.
3. Apply the paste evenly on the fish pieces and marinate in the refrigerator for 20 minutes. 
4. Dip the pieces in corn starch mixture.
5. Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the fish pieces till both side become light brown and crispy.
6. Serve.
