Oats Moong Dal Tikki

INGREDIENTS
Water
Split mung beans - 110 grams
Rolled oats - 70 grams
Grated onions - 50 grams
Green chili - 1/2 teaspoon
Chaat masala - 2 teaspoons
Red chilli - 2 teaspoons
Garam masala - 1/4 teaspoon
Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoon
Ginger garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Yogurt - 2 tablespoons
Coriander - 2 tablespoons
Oil - for frying

 

PREPARATION


1. Heat water in a skillet, add 110 grams split mung beans and bring it to a boil or till the dal is soft and cooked and all the water has evaporated.
2. Transfer it into a blender and blend it into a coarse paste.
3. Transfer the paste into a bowl, add 70 grams rolled oats, 50 grams grated onions, 1/2 teaspoon green chili, 2 teaspoons chaat masala, 2 teaspoons red chili, 1/4 teaspoon garam masala, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric, 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 2 tablespoons yogurt and 2 tablespoons coriander. Mix all the ingredients well.
4. Take some mixture on your hand and shape them into round shape.
5. Heat oil in a pan and place tikki over it.
6. Cook on low or medium heat until golden brown from both sides.
7. Drain it on an absorbent paper.
8. Serve.
