Achari Broccoli

INGREDIENTS

Water - 500 milliliters

Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

Broccoli - 150 grams

Oil - 1 1/2 tablespoon

Cumin seeds - 3/4 teaspoon

Mustard seeds - 3/4 teaspoon

Dry red chili - 2

Nigella seeds - 3/4 teaspoon

Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 teaspoon

Fennel seeds - 3/4 teaspoon

Onions - 200 grams

Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoon

Salt - 1 teaspoon

Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon

Red chili - 1 teaspoon

Bottle gourd - 250 grams

Water - 100 milliliters

Dry mango powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Tomato - 55 grams

PREPARATION

1. Heat 500 milliliters water in a pot, add 1/2 teaspoon salt, 150 grams broccoli and stir well.

2. Cover it with lid and cook for 2 - 3 minutes.

3. Remove from heat and strain them well.

4. Heat 1 1/2 tablespoon oil in a pot, add 3/4 teaspoon cumin seeds, 3/4 teaspoon mustard seeds and stir well.

5. Add 2 dry red chili, 3/4 teaspoon nigella seeds, 1/4 teaspoon fenugreek seeds, 3/4 teaspoon fennel seeds and saute for 2 - 3 minutes.

6. Now, add 200 grams onions and fry till it turns golden brown in color.

7. Add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1 teaspoon red chili and mix it well.

8. Then, add 250 grams bottle gourd, 100 milliliters water and mix it well.

9. Cover it with lid and cook for 10 minutes.

10. Add 1/2 teaspoon dry mango powder, boiled broccoli, 55 grams tomato and mix it well.

11. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes.

12. Serve hot.
