Vegetarian Chickpea Curry With Turnips

INGREDIENTS

Olive oil - 2 tablespoons

Garlic - 1 teaspoon

Onions - 60 grams

Tomato puree - 450 grams

Cumin powder - 1 tablespoon

Curry powder - 2 tablespoons

Turnip - 85 grams

Bell pepper - 80 grams

Sweet corn - 160 grams

Boiled chickpeas - 450 grams

Chilli flakes - 1/4 teaspoon

Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon

Salt - 1 teaspoon

Water - 200 milliliters

PREPARATION

1. Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a heavy skillet, add 1 teaspoon garlic, 60 grams onions and stir until the onions has softened and turned translucent.

2. Add 450 grams tomato puree, cook and stir for 3 - 5 minutes.

3. Now, add 1 tablespoon cumin powder, 2 tablespoons curry powder and mix it well.

4. Then, add 85 grams turnip, 80 grams bell pepper, 160 grams sweet corn and cook for 8 - 10 minutes.

5. Now, add 450 grams boiled chickpeas, 1/4 teaspoon chilli flakes, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon salt and mix it well.

6. Add 200 milliliters water and cook for 8 - 10 minutes.

7. Serve.
