Giant Cinnamon Roll Cake

INGREDIENTS
Warm milk - 400 milliliters

Butter - 120 milliliters

Powdered sugar - 120 grams

Yeast - 1 tablespoon

All purpose flour - 600 grams, divided

Baking powder - 1 teaspoon

Powdered brown sugar - 120 grams

Butter - 100 milliliters

Cinnamon powder - 2 tablespoons

Cream cheese - 200 grams

Fresh cream - 60 grams

Butter - 60 milliliters

Vanilla essence - 1 tablespoon

Icing sugar - 120 grams

 

PREPARATION

  1. In a mixing bowl, add 400 milliliters warm milk, 120 milliliters butter, 120 grams powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon yeast and mix it well.
  2. Rest the mixture for 5 minutes.
  3. Then, add 400 grams all purpose flour and knead it into a smooth soft dough.
  4. Rest the dough for 1 hour.
  5. Now, add 100 grams all purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder and mix it well.
  6. Place the dough on a flat clean surface and add 100 grams all purpose flour.
  7. Knead the dough well.
  8. Flatten it with the help of a rolling pin.
  9. Cut it’s sides to make a square.
  10. In a bowl, add 120 grams powdered brown sugar, 100 milliliters butter, 2 tablespoons cinnamon powder and mix it well.
  11. Add the batter on the dough and spread it evenly.
  12. Cut the dough into strips.
  13. Starting from the top, roll the first strip up from right to left. Take the first roll and place it on top of the next strip, starting again on the right side and rolling up right to left, building on the first. Continue with the remaining strips until you have a giant cinnamon roll.
  14. Place it in the cake pan.
  15. Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C. Bake for about 30 minutes.
  16. In a mixing bowl, add 200 grams cream cheese, 60 grams fresh cream, 60 milliliters butter, 1 tablespoon vanilla essence, 120 grams icing sugar and mix it well.
  17. Drizzle the prepared frosting over the roll.
  18. Cut it into slices.
  19. Serve.
