Chocolate Golgappa Shots

 

Servings - 12

 

INGREDIENTS
Wheat flour - 100 grams

Semolina - 2 1/2 tablespoons

Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

Warm water - 70 milliliters

Gram flour - 100 grams

Baking soda - 1/8 teaspoon

Organic food color - 1/2 teaspoon

Water - 150 milliliters

Oil - for frying

Sugar - 150 grams

Water - 250 milliliters

Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Cardamom powder - 1/4 teaspoon

Chocolate ice cream - 1 scoop

Sugar - 1 tablespoon

Dark chocolate - 2 tablespoons

Cocoa powder - 2 teaspoons

Chilled milk - 400 milliliters

Oil - for frying

Chocolate - for dipping

Colorful sprinkles

 

PREPARATION

  1. In a mixing bowl, add 100 grams wheat flour, 2 1/2 tablespoons semolina, 1/2 teaspoon salt and mix it well.
  2. Add 70 milliliters warm water and knead it into a smooth soft dough.
  3. Rest the dough for 30 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, add 100 grams gram flour, 1/8 teaspoon baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon organic food color, 150 milliliters water and mix it well to make a thick batter.
  5. Heat sufficient oil in a skillet, take small holes perforated spoon and pour the prepared batter on it.
  6. Slowly tap with the help of spoon, so the drop of batter fall into oil.
  7. Fry till golden brown and crispy. Drain it on an absorbent paper.
  8. Take a skillet, add 150 grams sugar, 250 milliliters water and stir continuously until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  9. Add 1 tablespoon lemon juice and mix it well.
  10. Add 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder and mix it again.
  11. Now, add the fried boondi in it and mix it well.
  12. Remove it from heat and keep aside.
  13. In a blender, add 1 scoop chocolate ice cream, 1 tablespoon sugar, 2 tablespoons dark chocolate, 2 teaspoons cocoa powder, 400 milliliters chilled milk and blend it well.
  14. Take a ball from dough and flatten it with the help of a rolling pin.
  15. Cut out a circle from it.
  16. Heat sufficient oil in a heavy skillet and deep fry these until golden brown and crispy.
  17. Drain it on an absorbent paper.
  18. Take the prepared golgappa and crack it from top.
  19. Dip it in the melted chocolate and sprinkle some colorful sprinkles on it.
  20. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  21. Fill it with the prepared boondi.
  22. Take a shot glass, fill it with chocolate milk.
  23. Place the prepared golgappa on it.
  24. Serve.
