Butterscotch Halwa

Servings - 2 - 3

INGREDIENTS
Cashews - 50 grams
Raisins - 50 grams
Sugar - 100 grams
Butter - 80 grams
Fresh cream - 120 grams
Vanilla essence - 1 teaspoon
Ghee - 40 milliliters
Semolina - 140 grams
Cardamom Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Milk - 400 milliliters

PREPARATION


1. In a pan, add 50 grams cashews, 50 grams raisins and roast on low heat.
2. In another pan, add 100 gram sugar and melt it by stirring it.
3. Add 80 grams butter and whisk it until it mixed well.
4. Now, add 120 grams fresh cream and mix well.
5. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla essence and mix it again.
6. Now, heat 40 milliliters ghee in a heavy skillet, add 140 grams semolina and roast it well.
7. Add roasted dry fruits and mix them well.
8. Add 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder and mix it well.
9. Now, add 400 milliliters milk and stir well.
10. Add prepared mixture and cook till it thickens.
11. Remove it from heat.
12. Serve hot.

Moong Dal Halwa

Water - 220 millilitres
Sugar - 230 grams
Cardamom - 2/3 teaspoon
Warm milk - 2tablespoons
Saffron - 1/8 teaspoon
Split mung beans - 200 grams
Ghee - 1 tablespoon
Almonds - 2 tablespoons
Cashews - 2 tablespoons
Ghee - 100 grams
Milk - 220 millilitres
