Masala Fish Finger

INGREDIENTS

Basa Fish - 450 grams

Ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon

Salt - 1/4 teaspoon

Paprika - 1/4 teaspoon

Black pepper- 1/4 teaspoon

All purpose flour - 100 grams

Red chili - 1/4 teaspoon

Cumin powder - 1/4 teaspoon

Garam masala - 1/4 teaspoon

Water - 150 milliliters

Bread crumbs

Oil - for frying

 

PREPARATION

  1. In a mixing bowl, add 450 grams basa fish, 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon paprika, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper and mix it well.
  2. Marinate for 10 - 15 minutes.
  3. In a another mixing bowl, add 100 grams all purpose flour, 1/4 teaspoon red chili, 1/4 teaspoon cumin powder, 1/4 teaspoon garam masala and mix it.
  4. Now, add 150 milliliters water and mix it well to combine. Keep aside.
  5. Then, dip the marinated fish fillets into the flour mixture and then roll it on the bread crumbs
  6. Heat sufficient oil in a heavy skillet and deep fry these until it turns golden brown and crispy. 
  7. Drain it on an absorbent paper and keep aside.
  8. Serve with mayonnaise.
