Teriyaki Chicken

INGREDIENTS
Chicken - 510 grams
Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
Black pepper powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Soy sauce - 45 milliliters
Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
Apple cider vinegar - 1 tablespoon
Brown sugar - 1 tablespoon
Honey - 1 1/2 tablespoons
Water - 180 milliliters
Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Garlic - 2 teaspoons
Ginger - 2 teaspoons
Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
Black pepper powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Corn flour - 1 tablespoon
Water - 30 milliliters
Broccoli - 175 grams
White sesame seeds - for garnishing
Green onions - for garnishing

PREPARATION


1. In a mixing bowl, add 510 grams chicken, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder and mix it well.
2. Marinate for 20 minutes.
3. In a bowl, add 45 milliliters soy sauce, 1 teaspoon sesame oil, 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 1 1/2 tablespoons honey, 180 milliliters water and mix it well.
4. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a pan, add the marinated chicken and mix it well.
5. Cook for 8 - 10 minutes on medium heat.
6. Remove it from heat and keep aside.
7. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a another pan, add 2 teaspoons garlic, 2 teaspoons ginger and stir well.
8. Then, add the prepared sauce and mix it well.
9. Bring it to a boil.
10. Add 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper and mix it well.
11. In a bowl, add 1 tablespoon corn flour, 30 milliliters water and mix it well.
12. Pour the mixture into the pan and mix it well.
13. Bring it to a boil.
14. Now, add the cooked chicken and mix it well.
15. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
16. Remove it from heat and keep aside.
17. Place 175 grams broccoli in a steamer and steam for about 8 - 10 minutes.
18. Take a serving plate, add some boiled rice on it.
19. Place the prepared chicken and steamed broccoli on it.
20. Garnish with white sesame seeds and green onions.
21. Serve.
