INGREDIENTS


Aloo Manchurian

Servings - 2 - 3

INGREDIENTS
Potatoes - 400 grams
Water - 500 milliliters
Ginger - 1 teaspoon
Soy sauce - 2 teaspoons
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Corn flour - 2 tablespoons
All purpose flour - 80 grams
Oil - for frying
Oil - 2 tablespoons
Garlic - 1 tablespoon
Ginger - 1 tablespoon
Onions - 60 grams
Bell pepper - 110 grams
Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
Ketchup - 40 grams
Sweet chili sauce - 1 tablespoon
Red chili sauce - 2 tablespoons
Sugar - 1/2 teaspoon
Vinegar - 2 teaspoons
Water - 150 milliliters
Corn flour - 1 tablespoon
Water - 30 milliliters
Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
Spring onions - 2 tablespoons

PREPARATION


1. Take 400 grams potatoes and grate them with the help of a food grater.
2. Transfer this into a bowl, add 500 milliliters water and wash it well.
3. Take a bowl, place a cloth on it. Add the washed grated potatoes on it.
4. Squeeze it tightly.
5. Transfer this into a another bowl, add 1 teaspoon ginger, 2 teaspoons soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 2 tablespoons corn flour, 80 grams all purpose flour and mix it well.
6. Take some mixture in your hands and shape it into a ball.
7. Deep fry these until golden brown and crispy.
8. Darin it on an absorbent paper and keep aside.
9. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan, add 1 tablespoon garlic, 1 tablespoon ginger and stir for 1 - 2 minutes.
10. Then, add 60 grams onions and fry till translucent or until it turns golden brown in color.
11. Now, add 110 grams bell pepper and mix it well.
12. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes open medium heat.
13. Add 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 40 grams ketchup, 1 tablespoon sweet chili sauce, 2 tablespoons red chili sauce, 1/2 teaspoon sugar, 2 teaspoons vinegar and mix it well.
14. Then, add 150 milliliters water and mix it well.
15. Bring it to a boil.
16. In a bowl, add 1 tablespoon corn flour, 30 milliliters water and mix it well.
17. Pour the batter into the pan and mix it well.
18. Add 1/4 teaspoon salt, 2 tablespoons spring onions and mix it well.
19. Now, add the fried manchurian and mix it well.
20. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
21. Remove it from heat.
22. Garnish with spring onions.
23. Serve hot.
