Cheesy Maggi Bread Roll

Servings - 2 - 3

INGREDIENTS

All purpose flour - 200 grams
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Water - 300 milliliters
Butter - 30 milliiters
Onions - 50 grams
Green peas - 50 grams
Carrot - 50 grams
Bell pepper - 50 grams
Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
Oregano - 1/4 teaspoon
Chilli flakes - 1/4 teaspoon
Water - 300 milliliters
Maggi noodles - 100 grams
Maggi masala - 10 grams
Cheese slices - 3
Bread slices
Mozzarella cheese - to taste
Water - for brushing
Bread crumbs - for coating
Oil - for frying

PREPARATION


1. In a mixing bowl, add 200 grams all purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 300 milliliters water and mix it well to make a thick batter. Keep aside.
2. Heat 30 milliliters butter in a skillet, add 50 grams onions and fry till translucent or until it turns golden brown in color.
3. Then, add 50 grams green peas, 50 grams carrot, 50 grams bell pepper and mix it well.
4. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
5. Add 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon oregano, 1/4 teaspoon chilli flakes and mix it well.
6. Add 300 milliliters water and mix it well.
7. Bring it to a boil.
8. Now, add 100 grams maggi noodles and mix it well.
9. Add 10 grams maggi masala and mix it again.
10. Cover it with lid and cook for about 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
11. Open the lid and give it a nice stir.
12. Add 3 cheese slices and mix it well.
13. Cook for 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat or until the cheese is melted.
14. Remove it from heat and keep aside.
15. Take a brea slice and cut it’s edges.
16. Flatten it with the help of a rolling pin.
17. Add the prepared maggi noodles on it.
18. Top with mozzarella cheese.
19. Pour some water on the sides of the bread.
20. Roll it tightly into a cylindrical shape. (See Video)
21. Dip it in the prepared batter and then roll it in bread crumbs properly.
22. Heat sufficient oil in a heavy skillet and deep fry these until golden brown and crispy.
23. Drain it on an absorbent paper.
24. Serve hot with ketchup.
