Chilli Paneer Footlong

INGREDIENTS

Paneer - 230 grams

Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon

Red chili - 1/2 teaspoon

Ginger paste - 1/2 teaspoon

Soy sauce - 1 teaspoon

Corn flour - 1 tablespoon

All purpose flour - 25 grams

Oil - for frying

Butter - 30 grams

Onions - 120 grams

Bell pepper - 130 grams

Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon

Red chili - 1/2 teaspoon

Chili paste - 1 tablespoon

Ketchup - 45 grams

Soy sauce - 2 teaspoons

Vinegar - 1 teaspoon

Water - 100 milliliters

Corn flour - 1 tablespoon

Water - 30 milliliters

Butter - 20 grams

Garlic - 2 tablespoons

Red chili paste - 1 tablespoon

Tomato puree - 250 grams

Oregano - 1 teaspoon

Chilli flakes - 1/2 teaspoon

Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon

Mayonnaise

Lettuce

PREPARATION

1. In a mixing bowl, add 230 grams paneer, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon red chili, 1/2 teaspoon ginger paste, 1 teaspoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon corn flour, 25 grams all purpose flour and mix it well.

2. Marinate for 15 - 20 minutes.

3. Heat sufficient oil in a skillet and deep fry these until golden brown and crispy.

4. Heat 30 grams butter in a pan, add 120 grams onions fry till translucent or until it turns golden brown in color.

5. Add 130 grams bell pepper and cook 1 - 2 minutes.

6. Add 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon red chili and mix it.

7. Now, add 1 tablespoon chili paste, 45 grams ketchup and stir well.

8. Add 2 teaspoons soy sauce, 1 teaspoon vinegar and mix.

9. Then, add 100 milliliters water and cook 2 - 3 minutes.

10. Now, add 30 milliliters corn flour mixture and mix it well.

11. Add fried paneer and cook 2 - 3 minutes.

12. Heat 20 grams butter in a pan, add 2 tablespoons ginger and stir 1 - 2 minutes.

13. Add 1 tablespoon red chili paste, 250 grams tomato puree and mix it well.

14. Now, add 1 teaspoon oregano, 1/2 teaspoon chilli flakes, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper and cook for 2 - 3 minutes.

15. Now, take a footlong bread and slice it in half with a knife.

16. Now, spread some mayonnaise and prepared sauce over it

17. Place some lettuce on it.

18. Place prepared chilli paneer over it.

19. Covered it with another footlong bread.

20. Serve.
