Creamy Cheese and Spinach Samosa

INGREDIENTS

(For Dough)

All purpose flour - 250 grams

Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

Oil - 50 milliliters

Water - 100 milliliters

 

(For Spinach Stuffing)

Mother dairy butter - 2 tablespoons

Garlic - 1 tablespoon

Spinach - 300 grams

Mother dairy fresh cream - 40 grams

Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

Mother dairy cheese slices - 10

 

(For Cheese and Spinach Samosa)

All purpose flour - for dusting

Prepared stuffing

Water - for brushing

Oil - for deep frying

 

PREPARATION

(For Dough)

  1. In a mixing bowl, add 250 grams all purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 50 milliliters oil and mix it well.
  2. Add 100 milliliters water and knead it into a smooth soft dough.
  3. Rest the dough for 20 minutes.

 

(For Spinach Stuffing)

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons mother dairy butter in a skillet, add 1 tablespoon garlic and stir well.
  2. Then, add 300 grams spinach and mix it well.
  3. Cook for 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat.
  4. Now, add 40 grams mother dairy fresh cream and mix it well.
  5. Add 1/2 teaspoon salt and mix it well.
  6. Cook for another 2 - 3 minutes on medium heat.
  7. Remove it from heat and allow it to cool for about 15 minutes.
  8. Now take mother 10 mother dairy cheese slices and cut in into small pieces.
  9. Transfer this into a bowl along with prepared spinach mixture and mix it well.
  10. Keep aside.

 

(For Cheese and Spinach Samosa)

  1. Take a ball from dough and dust it with all purpose flour.
  2. Flatten it with the help of a rolling pin.
  3. Cut it into half.
  4. Brush the sides with water and roll it into a cone.
  5. Fill it with the prepared stuffing and seal the edges properly.
  6. Heat sufficient oil in a skillet and deep fry these until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Drain it on an absorbent paper.
  8. Serve hot.
