Penne Pasta in Vodka Sauce

INGREDIENTS
Water - 1.5 litres
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Oil - 1 tablespoon
Whole wheat pasta - 300 grams
Water - 900 milliliters
Tomato - 500 grams
Butter - 40 milliliters
Onions - 80 grams
Garlic - 1 tablespoon
Chilli flakes - 1 teaspoon
Vodka - 100 milliliters
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Fresh cream - 130 milliliters
Parmesan cheese - 50 grams
Coriander - for garnishing
PREPARATION
1. Take a heavy skillet, add 1.5 litres water, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon oil and bring it to a boil.
2. Then, add 300 grams whole wheat pasta and mix it well.
3. Bring it to a boil.
4. Boil for 8 - 10 minutes on medium heat.
5. Remove it from heat and drain the pasta. Keep aside.
6. Take a deep pan, add 900 milliliters water, 500 grams tomato and bring it to a boil.
7. Boil for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
8. Remove it from heat and keep aside.
9. Heat 40 milliliters butter in a heavy skillet, add 80 grams onions and fry till translucent.
10. Add 1 tablespoon garlic, 1 teaspoon chilli flakes and mix it well.
11. Remove it form heat.
12. Then, add 100 milliliters vodka and mix it well.
13. Now, place it on the induction and give it a nice stir.
14. Add the boiled tomatoes, 1 teaspoon salt and mix it well.
15. Bring it to a boil.
16. Add 130 milliliters fresh cream and mix it well.
17. Then, add 50 grams parmesan cheese and mix it well.
18. Now, add the boiled pasta and mix it well.
19. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
20. Remove it from heat.
21. Garnish with parmesan cheese and coriander.
22. Serve.
