Homemade Caramels

INGREDIENTS
Butter - 125 milliliters
Brown sugar - 125 grams
Granulated sugar - 125 grams
White corn syrup - 125 milliliters
Condensed milk - 125 milliliters
Salt - 1/4 teaspoon

 

PREPARATION


1. In a heavy skillet, add 125 milliliters butter, 125 grams brown sugar, 125 grams granulated sugar, 125 milliliters white corn syrup, 125 milliliters condensed milk and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
2. Bring to a boil and cook until the mixture thickens and turns golden brown.
3. Remove from heat and pour the mixture into a dish.
4. Allow it to cool for 2 hours and set up.
5. When cool, cut into pieces and wrap in a wax paper.
6. Enjoy!
