Infinity Gauntlet Cake

Servings - 5 - 7

INGREDIENTS

Icing sugar - 1 kilogram

Butter - 500 grams

Vanilla extract - 1 1/2 tablespoons

Milk - 50 milliliters

Cake bases - 13 - 15 (1 inch thick)

Rice krispies bar - 10 - 12

Sugar fondant

Edible glue

Melted sugar candies

Natural food color

PREPARATION

1. In a mixing bowl, add 1 kilogram icing sugar, 500 grams butter, 1 1/2 tablespoons vanilla extract, 50 milliliters milk and whisk it well to make it thick.

2. Take a cake base and cut it into half. Do the same with the rest of cake bases.

3. Apply buttercream frosting on it and place the cake on top of it.

4. Do the same with 4 cake bases.

5. Then prick 4 wooden sticks inside the cake so the cake get support and didn’t fell down. (See Video)

6. Place a round cardboard base and apply buttercream frosting on top of it.

7. Then, do the same with remaining cake bases.

8. Now, shape the cake bases into a hand structure and cut the cake little by little so you get the proper shape.

9. Layer it with buttercream frosting.

10. Take 10 - 12 Rice krispies bar and crush it well.

11. Make fingers and thumb with it.

12. Prick a wooden stick inside it.

13. Now, take a sugar fondant and flatten it with the help of rolling pin.

14. Cut the sides and cover the fingers with it. Decorate the finger as it is in the picture of gauntlet.

15. Print the shapes of gauntlet and then use it to cut out same shapes from the sugar fondant.

16. Join the pieces with the help of edible glue.

17. For the gems take a roll of sugar fondant and make a gem shape inside it to make a mould.

18. Pour the melted sugar candies in it.

19. Cool till it gets hard.

20. Remove it from the mould. Do the same for other gems.

21. Then, take a sugar fondant and flatten it with the help of rolling pin. Cut out a long strip from it.

22. Cover the whole hand with the sugar fondant.

23. Place the fingers and thumb on it.

24. Decorate it with pieces you have prepared earlier.

25. Give the detailing on the cake with the help of cake tools.

26. Then, color it with natural food color.

27. Now, attach the gems with edible glue.

28. This does put a smile on your face.
