Mango Phirni

INGREDIENTS
Rice - 75 grams
Water
Milk - 750 millilitres
Sugar - 50 grams
Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Rose water - 1 teaspoon
Almonds - 1/2 tablespoon
Pistachios - 1/2 tablespoons
Mango puree - 300 grams
Almonds - for garnishing

PREPARATION


1. Rinse and soak 75 grams rice in water for 30 minutes.
2. After the rice grains are dried, put them in blender and grind till you get a semi fine granular.
3. Heat 750 millilitres milk in a heavy pot, add rice, 50 grams sugar and mix well. Cook till the milk get thickens.
4. Keep on stirring in breaks so that lumps are not formed.
5. Add 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder, 1 teaspoon rose water, 1/2 tablespoons almonds, 1/2 tablespoon pistachios and mix well.
6. Add 300 grams mango puree and mix very well to a uniform consistency.
7. Garnish with almonds.
8. Serve.
