INGREDIENTS


Cupcake Flower Bouquet
Servings - 6- 7

 

INGREDIENTS
Eggs - 2
Sugar - 170 grams
Unsalted butter (melted) - 220 milliliters
Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
Milk - 220 milliliters
All purpose flour - 220 grams
Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
Baking Powder - 1 1/2 teaspoons

(Frosting)
Icing sugar - 500 grams
Butter - 250 grams
Vanilla extract -2 teaspoons
Milk - 2 tablespoons
Icing color (pink) - 4 - 5 drops
Icing color (yellow)- 4 - 5 drops

 

PREPARATION


(Cupcakes)
1. In a mixing bowl, add 2 eggs, 170 grams sugar, 220 milliliters unsalted butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 220 milliliters milk and mix well. Add 220 grams all purpose flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder and mix it again.
2. Divide the batter between muffin cups.
3. Preheat the oven to 350 F/180 C. Bake for 10 - 15 minutes or until tops are no longer wet.

(Frosting)
1. Take another mixing bowl, add 500 grams icing sugar, 250 grams butter, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, 2 tablespoons milk and mix well.
2. Divide the frosting in two cups. Add 4 - 5 drops of Icing color and mix well.
3. Take a pot. Place the bubblewrap or styrofoam ball in the pot.
4. Working your way around the ball, place toothpicks on the ball and add the cupcakes, staggering rows. Angle the toothpicks up, so the cupcakes will stay on.
5. Fill the piping bags with frosting. Pipe a frosting rose on each cupcake.Starting on the outside, squeeze the piping bag and create a spiral until your reach the middle of the cupcake. (See the video)
6. Once all the cupcakes have flowers on them, enjoy!
