INGREDIENTS
(For Dough)
All purpose flour - 300 grams
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Ghee - 45 milliliters
Water - 120 milliliters
(For Chicken Stuffing)
Oil - 2 tablespoons
Garlic - 1 tablespoon
Green chili - 1 tablespoon
Onions - 70 grams
Tomato - 100 grams
Minced chicken - 380 grams
Roasted coriander seeds - 1/2 tablespoon
Roasted cumin seeds - 1/2 tablespoon
Red chili - 1 teaspoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
(For All Purpose Flour Paste)
All purpose flour - 20 grams
Ghee - 60 milliliters
Oil - for frying
PREPARATION
(For Dough)
1. In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients except water and mix it well.
2. Add 120 milliliters waters and knead it into a smooth soft dough.
3. Rest the dough for 20 minutes.
(For Chicken Stuffing)
1. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a skillet, add 1 tablespoon garlic and stir well until it turns golden brown in color.
2. Add 1 tablespoon green chili and stir well.
3. Then, add 70 grams onions and fry till translucent.
4. Now, add 100 grams tomato and saute till it turns soft and pulpy.
5. Add 380 grams minced chicken and mxi it well
6. Cook for 10 - 15 minutes or till the chicken is fully cooked through.
7. Add 1/2 tablespoon roasted coriander seeds, 1/2 tablespoon roasted cumin seeds, 1 teaspoon red chili, 1 teaspoon salt and mix it well.
8. Add 1/2 teaspoon garam masala and mix it again.
9. Cook for another 5 - 7 minutes.
10. Remove it from heat and keep aside.
(For All Purpose Flour Paste)
1. In a bowl, add 20 grams all purpose flour, 60 milliliters ghee and mix it well. Keep aside.
(Rest of the Preparation)
1. Take a ball from dough and flatten it with the help of rolling pin.
2. Brush it with the prepared mixture.
3. Fold it into a square. (See Video)
4. Again flatten it with the help of rolling pin.
5. Place some prepared chicken stuffing on it.
6. Seal the edges to make triangles from all sides.
7. It will look like a rhombus. (See Video)
8. Now attach the opposite sides and press gently.
9. Heat sufficient oil in a heavy skillet and deep fry these till golden brown and crispy.
10. Drain it on an absorbent paper.
11. Serve hot wit ketchup.
