INGREDIENTS
Butter - 100 grams
Powdered sugar - 100 grams
Eggs - 3
All purpose flour - 150 grams
Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
Vanilla essence - 1/4 teaspoon
Organic food color(yellow) - 1/8 teaspoon

 

PREPARATION


1. In a mixing bowl, beat the 100 grams butter till it becomes soft and creamy.
2. Add 100 grams powdered sugar and mix together till it becomes smooth.
3. Add 3 eggs and again mix well.
4. Add 150 grams all purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla essence, 1/8 teaspoon organic food color (yellow) and Mix well to make smooth paste.
5. Brush the baking dish with butter.
6. Pour the batter into a cake pan.
7. Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C. Bake for 30 minutes or until brown.
8. Cut it into thin slices.
9. Arrange the slices on a baking tray.
10. Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C. Bake for 15 - 20 minutes or until brown.
11. Take out the tray and flip the rusks to bake the other side.
12. Put the tray back into the oven and bake again for 15 - 20 minutes.
13. Serve.
