Gathiya Basket Chaat

INGREDIENTS
Gram flour - 200 grams
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Red chili - 1 teaspoon
Oil - 50 milliliters
Water - 100 milliliters
Onions - 30 grams
Tomato - 40 grams
Cucumber - 35 grams
Coriander - 1 tablespoon
Chili sauce - 1 tablespoon
Ketchup - 2 tablespoons
Grated Cheese - for garnishing
Coriander - for garnishing

 

PREPARATION


1. In a mixing bowl, add 200 grams gram flour, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon red chili, 50 milliliters oil, 100 milliliters water and mix well to make a smooth soft dough.
2. Take a sev maker and fit in the big holes disc. Grease the sev make with little oil.
3. Take a small portion of the dough and place it in the sev maker.
4. Now slowly press the sev maker to make sev.
5. Place this sev to a stainer to make a basket shape.
6. Heat sufficient oil in a heavy skillet. Deep fry until golden brown. Drain it on an absorbent paper and let them cool completely.
7. In a mixing bowl, add 30 grams onions, 40 grams tomato, 35 grams cucumber, 1 tablespoon coriander, 1 tablespoon chili sauce, 2 tablespoons ketchup and mix it well.
8. Arrange the baskets, place lettuce and top with tomato, cucumber mixture.
9. Garnish with grated cheese and coriander.
10. Serve.
